Simply the best burger I've had in Seattle. Tavern Burger is a great value, simple but excellent execution. Fries are equally good, crip edges with a soft tender inside. Lemonade was okay.

Cool spot for an easy and satisfying midday meal. Surprised to see every barstool filled on a Tuesday afternoon, but it must be a popular local watering hole. Ordered at the bar -- Tavern Burger (7) and a Tavern Salad (10) -- and then chose a table. Bartender wasn't the warmest but that's ok, the food was good and the atmosphere hit just right. Parking lot out back and street parking available too. Just a note, they have a nice outdoor patio, but they do *not* allow dogs on leashes.

What a gem. Friendly service, cozy real deal tavern with arguably the best burgers in the Puget Sound. Love everything about this business.

This is my favorite burger spot. I’ve been going here for the past 6 years and I’ve never had a bad burger here. My typical order is a double tavern, fries and a beverage. With tip it cost 20-25 it’s a great smash burger, with plenty of cheese, secret sauce, pickles (I order no pickles) , and diced raw onions. It’s a well balanced burger. The acidity of the onions cuts through the heaviness of the burger. only thing you might have to do is order extra secret sauce to put on your burger because sometimes they don’t put enough on or it’s great to dip your fries in! The service is quick and fast! I’ve never waited along time for food even when it’s busy and the atmosphere is great! The indoor seating is small but they have a big out door area which most seats have cover from the rain and heaters to keep you room.

100% recommend to get their hand cut fries! Pair it with some malt vinegar and a beer, and enjoy at their outside patio area!

I love this place. The tavern burger is fire. Fries are delicious and plentiful. Ordered the pork cutlet today. That’s a two person plate, noted. I think they have the best F&C in town although no one I encounter ever talks of it. I love the vibe, cozy booths, the staff are great and it’s all I could want it in a great local pub. It’s my happy place.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Loretta's for my final Seattle meal on my way to the airport and it will now be a MUST every time I visit! Rustic dive bar feel with absolultely fantastic food (order the pork tenderloin sandwich and thank me later) & cocktails. Brooklyn was our server and she was top notch! Sweet with a side of sarcasm in the best possible way! As someone who works in the service industry I wanted to give kudos where they are due and she made my first time here spectacular ensuring I will return.

I watched a YouTube video for the best burgers in Seattle, and this guy named Matthew Norman said that Loretta's Northwesterner Bar has them. My wife and I just ate there, and Matthew was right!
